If re-elected, the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s (DRC) President Felix Tshisekedi vowed that he would seek the backing of the national and provincial assemblies to declare war on Rwanda.
This, he said, was because he was tired of Rwanda’s role in the instability in the eastern part of the country, where M23 rebels were a menace.
“If you renew your confidence in me – and, if Rwanda continues its desires to the east of our territory, I will bring the two houses of Parliament and congress together to declare war on them.
