Three people were killed in an aircraft crash in Namibia on Friday.

Three Westair Aviation employees were killed when one of the company’s light aircraft crashed in Windhoek, Namibia, on Friday.
In a statement, the company confirmed that one of its airframes had crashed at 17:00 on Friday, shortly after take-off from Eros Airport, claiming the lives of the three employees.
“First and foremost, our hearts go out to the families, friends and colleagues affected by this tragedy. We extend our deepest sympathies in this difficult time. We are currently coordinating with local emergency services and authorities and doing everything in our power to provide immediate assistance and support,” the company added in the statement.
It has launched an investigation into the crash in collaboration with aviation experts and relevant authorities.
