Marriage is wonderful and people who desire it should pursue it, but never because of social pressure. It can actually mean a lot of work, stress death or even hell for many people, whether man or woman. Very few marriages/relationships are truly enjoyable. It can come with many things including: with risks of chronic disease like high blood pressure, sexually transmitted diseases ( cheating partner), plenty arguments/fights , stress and troubles galore, one partner doing all the work and struggling with overwork, plus struggles of childbirth (many die in it), having kids that need special help and many manymany other things.
I am not being negative. I am presenting a reality check that people often focus on sentiment/ imagination, as if they can predict tomorrow, who their future can be with, how long they both can live before one becomes a single mother or father through widowhood/disability etc etc. People run after marriage seeing it as “happily ever after”. Yet what works for one person, may not work for another. You can be happy as a married person or unhappy. You can also be happily single and successful in life, rendering positive things in society.
Accepting and loving yourself and pursuing positive self -development empowers you and prepares you to succeed in life whether single or married. You will then have the practical strength when you commit to support your husband or wife and take care of your family even if something unpredictable happens.
People shouldn’t see getting married as a hot pursuit for social status or enjoyment. But rather as an important choice/decision that comes, after adequate mental//spiritual/physical preparation; and is not mandatory by either law or religion.
I don’t typically comment on posts, but as a long time reader I thought I’d
drop in and wish you all the best during these troubling times.

Your wordpress site is very sleek – hope you don’t
mind me asking what theme you’re using? (and don’t mind if I steal it?
:P)
I just launched my site –also built in wordpress like yours–
but the theme slows (!) the site down quite a bit.
In case you have a minute, you can find it by searching for “royal cbd” on Google (would
appreciate any feedback) – it’s still in the works.
Keep up the good work– and hope you all take care of yourself during
the coronavirus scare!
